Shanti Das is an accomplished entertainment industry veteran, speaker, author, and Philanthropist. Shanti worked for over 25 years with artists such as Usher, Prince, TLC and more!
But in 2009, her life took a turn. When her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and an uncle who was her father figure died, Shanti struggled with grief and left New York and her position as executive vice president at Universal Motown Records. She returned home to focus on her family and her mental health. But it was the suicide of a close friend that became the tipping point for contemplating suicide. She sought help from a psychiatrist and began her healing journey. Out of that pain, Shanti established her very own nonprofit, Silence the Shame, a mental health movement to remove the stigma around mental health.
